Change of Seasons

You can feel it. You can feel fall in the air. We are at the beginning of a new season in nature and you will no doubt feel this shift in your life right now. Change shows up in so many ways with summer coming to a close.

It’s not just the different colour leaves and scenery, it’s the feeling of wanting to clear out the junk and nestle into the warmth of returning to routine. Life happens in polarities like this. There is no appreciation of the dark winter without the alive brightness of summer. We live in chaos for long enough and then we crave stability + schedules. If you let yourself go with the flow of both sides of this, you will find something mutually beautiful.

Along with the change that you can’t control (like the seasons) there are changes in scenery that you can control and that is a really powerful place to grow from. When you change your scene of what you do day in and day out, the perspective of your life changes. You literally have more space to look at your life with new eyes. Reflection somehow seems simpler.

I’m coming home from my sold-out Whistler GTFO retreat today and this whole concept is a big part of why my retreat is so powerful. We get out of town, enjoy good company in nature and gain new perspective on life. We find insight to where we can let go to grow. In this brand new season how can you take this concept and actually plug it into your reality?

happy first Sunday of Autumn,

xx
