It’s tough not to crack a smile and shed a tear while watching this one.
Ten of the 13 surviving members of the Humboldt Broncos were at the NHL Awards in Las Vegas on Wednesday.
They were honoured during the show, but beforehand they got to enjoy the red carpet star treatment.
The 10 Broncos walked and rolled down the carpet with hundreds of fans cheering them on and a few of them even stopped to sign autographs for the young kids.
It was a moment that they surely won’t forget anytime soon and you could tell how much it meant to them by the smiles on their faces.

Once inside the building, the players were recognized and honoured during the awards show and so was their late coach.
Darcy Haugan was posthumously awarded with the inaugural Willie O’Ree Award, which is presented to an individual who, through hockey, has positively impacted his or her community, culture or society.
Christina Haugan, Darcy’s wife, accepted the award on behalf of the Broncos’ coach and delivered a beautiful speech that had people all over North America tearing up.
Make sure you take three minutes out of your day today to watch her speech and the quick video tribute to the 16 souls we lost in the tragic April 6 bus crash.
