Canada's sweethearts Tessa Virtue and Scott Moir will go for gold tonight in the final portion of the mixed ice dance event.
However, before the duo became world record holding Olympians, they were two kids learning to skate at the Ilderton Skating Club just outside of London, Ontario.
Moir, 30, and Virtue, 28, have been skating together for over 20-years and the pair's amazing chemistry has not been lost on Olympic viewers.

Despite the world's observations, Canada's flag bearers have said they maintain a completely platonic relationship and are simply longtime friends.
Canadians will be watching closely tonight as the pair enter the final portion of the mixed ice dance competition in first place.
After winning gold at Vancouver 2010 and a silver medal at Sochi 2014, Virtue and Moir have announced this will be their last Olympics.
