<p dir="ltr">Last seen on Aug. 22, the 25-year-old was <a href="https://www.kamloopsbcnow.com/watercooler/news/news/Kamloops/Human_remains_found_inside_a_burned_vehicle_outside_of_Kamloops/">reported missing</a> to the Kamloops RCMP a few days later and the case is now deemed to be suspicious.</p>

<p dir="ltr">A statement from the RCMP says the identity of a <a href="https://www.kamloopsbcnow.com/watercooler/news/news/Kamloops/Human_remains_found_inside_a_burned_vehicle_outside_of_Kamloops/">body recovered in a vehicle fire</a> on Tranquille-Criss Creek Road on&nbsp;Aug. 23&nbsp;has not yet been confirmed, but police and the BC Coroners Service are investigating possible connections.</p>

<p dir="ltr">While the MCU&rsquo;s involvement in a missing persons case would indicate the possibility of foul play, the RCMP did not clarify whether Bain was still alive or not.</p>

<p dir="ltr">His mother did, however, in a post shared to her&nbsp;social media late Tuesday night.</p>

<p dir="ltr">&ldquo;It is with the heaviest heart and unimaginable sorrow that I share the news no parent should ever have to give,&rdquo; Bain&rsquo;s mother Tina shared on Facebook. &ldquo;My beautiful son, Dillen, has been found, but not in the way we had all prayed for.&rdquo;</p>

<p dir="ltr">&ldquo;My fight is not over,&rdquo; she added. &ldquo;I still need answers.&rdquo;</p>

<p dir="ltr">Tina Bain urged anyone with information to contact the MCU tip line at 1-877-987-8477, which is what investigators are asking the public to do as well.</p>

<p dir="ltr">&ldquo;MCU investigators are looking for public assistance in determining the circumstances that led to Dillen&rsquo;s disappearance,&rdquo; S/Sgt Jason Smart said in a media release.&nbsp;</p>

<p dir="ltr">&ldquo;If you have any information related to Dillen Bain&rsquo;s disappearance, please contact the RCMP.&rdquo;</p>

<p dir="ltr">Police reshared Bain&rsquo;s description in hopes that it triggered the memories of witnesses that may have seen what happened to the young man.</p>

<p dir="ltr">He&rsquo;s described as a Caucasian male standing 5&rsquo;10&rdquo; and 185 lbs with brown hair, brown eyes and a full-sleeve tattoo on his left arm.</p>
