Get ready for a fun night of laughter at The Roster as we present award-winning comic Ed Hill! Originally hailing from Taiwan and now calling Vancouver, British Columbia, his comedic journey began with a vacation at his father's discretion.
In 2021, Ed made history by becoming the first comedian of Taiwanese-Canadian descent to release a one-hour comedy special, "Candy & Smiley," which earned accolades like "Top 15 Comedy Specials of 2021" by Paste Magazine and "Best of 2021" by NPR Radio, now streaming worldwide on Amazon Prime and Apple TV. In 2023, Ed brings his critically-acclaimed follow-up show, "Stupid Ed," to the off-off Broadway stage at the Tank Theater in NYC.
With a trail of accolades, including "Best Vancouver Comedian of 2016" and "Comic to Watch" by Reader's Digest Magazine, Ed Hill's humor transcends borders and is showcased on platforms like AXS TV, FOX's "Laughs," CBC GEM, TED talks, and more.
