More than 200K toddler sleepers sold at Walmart have been recalled across Canada

Health Canada has issued a recall for more than 200,000 toddler sleepers that were sold at Walmart between November 2022 and June 2023.

The recall involves George brand sleepers, sizes 0-5T, for both boys and girls.

“The zipper pulls and foot grips of the George Brand Sleepers, may fall off or be removed through repeated washing, posing choking and ingestion hazards,” the recall says.

Anyone who may have purchased the sleepers are advised to stop using the product and check the style number printed on the label to make sure they are included in the recall.

Those style numbers include GRS30400IB, GRS30400TB, GRS30400IG and GRS30400TG.

If you have a sleeper that is included in the recall, contact the Walmart store for a full refund.

Although 216,595 sleepers were sold across the country, no incidents or injuries have been reported as of Sept. 21, says Health Canada.
