Monster branded energy drinks are being recalled in Canada.
The recall affects all flavours that contain caffeine and do not have bilingual (English and French) labelling.
“The affected products are being recalled from the marketplace due to various non-compliances related to caffeine content and labelling requirements,” writes the recall.
Those who have purchased the various flavours are asked to throw out the products or return them to the location of purchase.
Health Canada also states that if you think you have become sick because of the recalled product, reach out to a healthcare provider.
There have been no reported illnesses associated with the consumption of the recalled products.
It is also stated that if you become aware of recalled products being sold, you can report it to the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) at this link.
The CFIA is currently conducting an investigation at this time and it is possible more products may be recalled.
