The list of Oscar-nominated films was released this morning and leading with 13 nominations is The Shape of Water, by Guillermo del Toro. However, other strong contenders include Lady Bird, Call Me By Your Name and Mudbound - a film that has Mary J. Blige nominated for Best Supporting Actress. Another film getting a lot of buzz is Jordan Peele's, Get Out - a dark satire that blends horror with themes of race paranoia.
