Two brands of ice cream sandwiches are being recalled over fears they could contain small pieces of metal.
Agropur Cooperative has ordered the withdrawal of its Iceberg and Originale Augustin desserts.
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) is conducting an investigation.
It said the products were being recalled “due to [the] possible presence of fine metal particles”.
Consumers have been warned not to eat the ice cream sandwiches.
The affected products are:
Iceberg’s Mega Sandwiches Vanilla Ice Cream
Originale Augustin Mega Sandwich Vanilla Ice Cream
If you have one of these products in your home, throw it out or return it to the store where it was bought.
The CFIA said there have not been any reported injuries associated with the products.
