1. Richest people in US pay barely any tax, report claims

Evidence shows certain American magnates pay very little tax, according to a controversial new report. The ProPublica website said it has tax returns showing the likes of Jeff Bezos, Elon Musk and Warren Buffet – men who are richer than many countries – paid nothing at all in tax in some years. The Biden Administration has promised to punish the people responsible for leaking the tax returns.

2. US President's son repeatedly used racist language, report claims

President Joe Biden's troubled son Hunter sent text messages to his lawyer using racist language, according to a report. The Daily Mail's US website claims Hunter, who has become a major target for his father's political opponents, repeatedly used the word "n***a" in discussions with the attorney George Mesires. President Biden has so far ignored the report.

3. South African woman gives birth to 10 babies

A South African woman has given birth to 10 babies, according to reports in the country. If confirmed, it would be a new world record. Gosiame Thamara Sithole is said to have had seven boys and three girls.

4. Trump praises Nigeria for banning Twitter

Donald Trump has praised Nigeria after it banned controversial social media platform Twitter. The Nigerian government said the ban was in response to Twitter's removal of a post by President Muhammadu Buhari. Trump said: "Who are they to dictate good and evil, if they themselves are evil?"

5. Apple pays millions to woman whose explicit photos were shared by technician

Apple has paid millions of dollars to a woman whose explicit photos and videos were shared online by technicians repairing her iPhone. The private material was uploaded to Facebook and elsewhere. It was made to look as though the woman had posted the material herself. Apple apologized for the "egregious violation."
