A woman has been killed by a bear in Colorado, officials in the state said. The 39-year-old was walking her two dogs in the north of Durango on Friday when she was attacked. The bear and its two cubs have been euthanized.

A farmer has provoked laughs after accidentally rearranging the border between France and Belgium. The Belgian farmer moved an old stone marker 2.29 metres inside of France so he could drive his tractor through a patch of land. As a consequence, he temporarily increased the size of Belgium at the expense of France.
