Although it hasn’t formed yet, forecasters say that Hurricane Helene could hit Florida later this week. Evacuations are likely to take place today as the coastal areas of Florida brace for what could be the strongest storm to make landfall in the US in over a year. It could hit the state as a Category 3 major hurricane.
