The emergency department at 100 Mile House District General Hospital is starting 2026 the same way 2025 finished.
Emergency services will be unavailable at the hospital from 7 am until 8 pm today.

During the 13-hour closure, Interior Health is advising patients to drive just over an hour to Cariboo Memorial Hospital in Williams Lake for care.
“All other inpatient services will continue at 100 Mile House District General Hospital,” the health authority notes.
People in the community who need life-threatening emergency care for things like chest pains, difficulty breathing or severe bleeding should still call 911 for transport to the nearest available and appropriate facility.
