David Beckham put his snowboarding skills to the test on a recent trip to British Columbia.
Beckham, his son Cruz and several friends made the trek to the Fernie area for a catskiing trip with Island Lake Lodge.
“What an amazing experience with friends, creating incredible memories,” Beckham wrote on an Instagram post summarizing the trip, adding that it ended with “the perfect triple somersault faceplant.”
Beckham included video of his epic wipeout in the post, showing him carving through backcountry powder before tumbling down the hill.
The legendary English footballer and his 19-year-old son Cruz were joined on the trip by Authentic Brands Group CEO Jamie Salter and his sons, as well as other prominent businessmen David Gardner and Derek White.
Judging by their Instagram posts, it was a beyond-memorable trip, as they enjoyed a few Stella Artois and some spectacular BC powder.
Island Lake Lodge is a spectacular year-round resort that offers catskiing in the winter and great summer activities like hiking and biking when it warms up and the snow melts.
The catskiing isn't cheap though, as you're looking at a several thousand dollar bill for a two-day trip.
