It’s made up of a 75.5-metre suspension bridge that sits below a cantilevered viewing deck, offering stunning views of the valley more than 4,000 feet below.

According to the Resort, it’s all part of the Highline trail that spans 700 metres from start to finish.

The trail begins at the top of the Revelation Gondola with a 300-metre walk to the viewing deck, followed by a 150-metre stretch to the bridge entrance and 250-metre return along the exit.

Both attractions provide sweeping views of the Monashee Mountains, Columbia River and city of Revelstoke far below.

Revelstoke Mountain Resort VP and GM, Peter Nielson said the new suspension bridge and viewing platform offer an “entirely new way” for people to experience the beauty of the area.

“As we approach the end of a busy summer season, we are pleased to introduce a new attraction to our line-up,” Nielsen explained in a media release.

He added: “It’s a truly unique and elevated mountain experience that we’re proud to share with both visitors and our local community.”

Access to the Revelstoke Highline is included in the purchase of a Sightseeing & Hiking Lift Pass or Adventure Pass.
