Motorists in British Columbia and beyond continue to pay high prices at the pump.
In May, the average gas price in Canada topped $2 per litre for the first time in history and now you would be lucky to find gas prices that are less than a toonie.
Today, there is only one gas station in the province that is under the $2 mark and it’s the Super Save in Salmon Arm.
According to GasBuddy, the station on 3rd Street in Salmon Arm is currently at 197.9 cents per litre, which is eight cents cheaper than any other station in BC.
A pair of stations in Trail and Castlegar both have gas at 205.9 cents per litre, then there’s a log jam of spots all around BC that have gas at 207.9 cents per litre and above.
So if you are in the Thompson-Okanagan region and are heading east on the Trans-Canada Highway for a weekend trip, you may want to hit up Super Save in Salmon Arm for some fuel.
