If you were unaware, a national holiday is approaching: National Popcorn Day.
To some, it may mean attempting to throw a kernel across the room into your friend’s mouth, but to Cineplex, it warrants free popcorn for movie enthusiasts.
On Saturday, SCENE members can receive a free small popcorn at any of the 165 Cineplex theatres across Canada, no matter what movie or showtime they plan to attend.
In order to claim your celebratory prize, SCENE members only need to scan their cards at the concession stand.
Although moviegoers are limited to one bag per SCENE member, the small bag of the delightfully fluffy snack can go a long way — especially, if you don’t fall victim to inhaling the whole bag immediately after taking your seat.
