One of the hottest tickets of the year in the world of rock and roll has been Creed’s Summer of ‘99 Tour.
Scott Stapp, Mark Tremonti, Brian Marshall and Scott Philips have played over 60 sold-out concerts throughout North America so far in 2024 and they’re not ready to stop the ride yet.
Due to overwhelming demand, with more than 800,000 tickets sold this year, Creed has announced an extension of the Summer of ‘99 Tour into 2025.
Creed’s run through North American will resume in July with 23 more shows, which includes a stop in Vancouver at BC Place on Saturday, Aug. 16.
“Thirty years in, it’s been a blessing to pick up right where we left off with longtime fans and to meet the next generation for the first time,” said Stapp.
“It’s been an incredible ride, and we aren’t done, so here’s to a ‘Summer’ that never ends. We’ll see you on the road.”
Although Creed’s discography is not nearly as large as other bands that have been around for 30 years, they’re a great example of quality over quantity.
Those in attendance at BC Place next August will get to hear some of the group’s classic hits in person, including “Higher,” “With Arms Wide Open,” “My Sacrifice” and “One Last Breath.”
While 3 Doors Down and Daughtry are providing support for some Creed tour dates in 2025, the opening acts for the Vancouver show will be Big Wreck and Mammoth WVH.
Tickets to see Creed in Vancouver or anywhere else on their Summer of ‘99 Tour go on sale through Live Nation at 10 am on Friday, Dec. 13.
