Foo Fighters to play massive show at BC Place with Queens of the Stone Age as support

One of the biggest rock bands in the world is returning to British Columbia next year.

Foo Fighters announced a 2026 stadium tour this morning that currently has them scheduled to play 12 shows in Canada and the United States between Aug. 4 and Sept. 26.

That includes a night at BC Place in Vancouver on Sunday, Sept. 20, 2026.

Foo Fighters alone would be a hot ticket, but the Dave Grohl-led band is also bringing along Queens of the Stone Age to serve as an opening act.

The band’s 2026 Take Cover tour, which promoters say will be expanded beyond 12 shows, will be their first stadium tour since the massive Everything or Nothing at All run in 2023-24.

It’s not just tour dates they’ve announced today either, as Foo Fighters also released their brand new single “Asking for a Friend.”

Grohl also penned a letter to fans, calling the new tune “one of many songs to come” and discussing his excitement for the upcoming tour.

"Since our return to the stage in San Luis Obispo five weeks ago, we have been reminded of why we love and are forever devoted to doing this Foo Fighters thing,” he wrote. “So it is with great happiness that we can share this next chapter together with his almighty Queens of the Stone Age.”

Tickets to see the Foo Fighters on tour in 2026 will go on sale through Live Nation at 10 am on Friday, Oct. 31.
