Hardy announces Okanagan show with Cameron Whitcomb as opening act

The 35-year-old announced several months worth of 2026 North American tour dates this morning and he’ll start his run north of the border in Canada.

The Country! Country! Tour! includes a stop at the South Okanagan Events Centre in Penticton on Friday, Feb. 20.

Cameron Whitcomb is the main opening act, which should certainly excite his large BC Interior fanbase, and McCoy Moore will do a short set at the start of the show as well.

Hardy is fresh off the release of his fourth studio album, Country! Country!, on Sept. 26, and it has already shot up into the top five of the US country album chart.

The album is considered a return to his roots, explains a Live Nation release, with tunes ranging from celebrations of his youth in the Mississippi mud to commentary on the state of country music at large.

A five-time Academy of Country Music award winner and three-time Country Music Association award winner, Rolling Stone has called Hardy a “Nashville wildcard.”

American Songwriter, meanwhile, says he’s earned his reputation as “a promising purveyor of keeping the spirit of classic heavy Southern rock alive.”

With emerging BC-born country star Cameron Whitcomb opening up the show in Penticton in February, it’s one that music fans will not want to miss.

Tickets will go on sale through Live Nation at 10 am on Friday, Oct. 10, with Hardy fan club presale opportunities beginning today at noon.
