With exactly four months to go until Rock The Lake 2025, the festival has offered up a first look at the lineup for this summer’s event.
It’s all Canadian content as well, as Simple Plan, The Sheepdogs, Sam Roberts Band and Down With Webster will travel to Kelowna for the three-day festival.
Rock The Lake 2025 is scheduled to take place in its usual spot outside Prospera Place from Friday, July 11, through Sunday, July 13.
“This year's festival will build on the momentum of past successes, bringing a fresh and younger lineup of Canadian rock bands to Kelowna,” said Marlon Weidlich, senior director of event operations at GSL Group.
“We’re thrilled to offer music fans an unforgettable weekend filled with live music, community and that signature Okanagan summer atmosphere that Rock The Lake is known for.”
Montreal-based Simple Plan will bring its pop-punk anthems like “I’m Just a Kid,” “I’d Do Anything,” “Addicted,” “Perfect” and “Welcome to My Life” to the stage on Saturday night.
Festival organizers did not indicate where Saskatoon rockers The Sheepdogs, the iconic Sam Roberts Band or electrifying rap-rock band Down With Webster would fit into the weekend schedule.
While these four bands are the first big-name acts to be announced as part of Rock The Lake’s 2025 lineup, a pair of local groups are confirmed to be joining them at the festival.
CrushXO and Lucky Monkey will perform at this year’s event after recently winning the first ever Battle of the Bands at Red Bird.
First-release three-day festival passes are now available for $169 plus fees and taxes through the Rock The Lake website.
