Mounties in Kamloops are turning to the public in hopes of finding a missing man.
Ferit Genc was reported missing to the RCMP on Sunday, Feb. 18. However, the 36-year-old’s last-known contact was on Wednesday, Feb. 14.
Police are also exploring the possibility that Genc may have left town since he was last seen a week ago.
“It is possible that Ferit may have left Kamloops and be elsewhere in the Okanagan,” explained Cpl. Crystal Evelyn.
The RCMP provided the following description of Genc, who is potentially wearing black sneakers and a black puffy jacket:
Anyone who knows where Genc is, or has information that could lead police to his whereabouts, is urged to contact the Kamloops RCMP at 250-828-3000.
