Alexisonfire leads second wave of artists announced for Rock The Lake in Kelowna

The lineup for Rock The Lake 2026 is starting to take shape.

After Cameron Whitcomb and Default were announced as the first two acts secured for the summer music festival in downtown Kelowna, a second wave of artists was revealed today.

It includes Canadian alt-rock legends Alexisonfire, co-led by City & Colour’s Dallas Green, who are currently touring to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their Platinum-selling album Crisis.

“Alexisonfire are such an iconic band for a whole generation of Canadian rock fans, so to be the festival that brings them to BC this summer is so exciting,” said Trish Jelinski of GSL Group Sports & Entertainment, the company behind Rock The Lake.

Other bands officially announced as part of the lineup today are Rock The Lake returnees April Wine and Glass Tiger, two classic Canadian bands that fans will be all-too-familiar with.

Also getting the nod in this year’s lineup is local Tragically Hip tribute act The Hip Replacements, who will treat fans to a high-energy singalong full of classic Hip tunes.

“Rock The Lake 2026 brings our vision of an inclusive rock festival to life,” added Jelinski, “one that stays true to its classic rock foundation while also celebrating great Canadian music across generations, past, present and future.”

The rest of the Rock The Lake bill will be revealed over the coming weeks and that will include daily lineups as we get closer to the event.

It will take over the Prospera Place parking lot from Friday, July 10, through Sunday, July 12.

Full three-day festival passes, both general admission and VIP, are available at Select Your Tickets. Single-day tickets will likely become available at a later date.
