Interior Health is warning residents over another COVID-19 exposure at an elementary school in the Okanagan.
According to IH, a confirmed case of the virus was recorded a Black Mountain Elementary in Kelowna on Saturday. The exposure occurred on Jan. 14.
At this point, the affected individuals are self-isolating at home and working with local public health teams. Contact tracing has also begun.
"The safety and well-being of students, families and staff remains our highest priority," wrote Central Okanagan Public Schools. "Central Okanagan Public Schools will continue to implement the strict health and safety protocols and procedures that are in place so students and staff can continue to attend school as safely as possible."
