Blue Rodeo’s Jim Cuddy bringing massive Canadian tour to Kelowna this fall

It doesn’t get much more Canadian than Blue Rodeo and you can’t begin to talk about the iconic Canadian band without mentioning Jim Cuddy.

The Blue Rodeo frontman has also enjoyed a fruitful solo career, one that will see him hit the road this fall in support of his new album, All The World Fades Away, coming out on June 14.

Between mid-June and the start of December, Cuddy will play 40 shows in Canada, ranging from small villages like Fenelon Falls to major hubs like Toronto.

And his massive tour includes a stop in the Central Okanagan, as the 68-year-old will take over the Kelowna Community Theatre on Sunday, Nov. 10.

Presale tickets will be available starting at 10 am on Monday, May 6, through Cuddy’s website, and will go on sale to the general public through Live Nation at 10 am on Friday, May 10.

All The World Fades Away is Cuddy’s sixth studio album and is a result of the legendary songwriter taking a rare abundance of time to reflect, tinker and create.

“You sort of enter a dream state when you begin writing. And I’ve begun to wonder why some images have stayed with me over the years and others haven’t. So yes, this album is about looking back,” he explained.

“However, I tried to make sure the record is affirming of life as it is now, reflecting how much I like where I’m at today. It’s not wrapping up or being nostalgic for old times. It’s just… surveying.”

Click here to pre-order the new album and head to wherever you stream your music to listen to the already-released lead single “Learn to Live Alone.”
