After having to cancel at the last minute in August because of local wildfires, the Kelowna International Fringe Festival is ready to take the stage beginning next weekend.
Taking place from Jan. 28 - Feb. 4, 10 different productions will put on 30 performances at the Black Box Theatre and the Rotary Centre for the Arts.
“The festival is mostly comprised of original new works from artists from Washington, DC to Victoria,” said Festival Artistic Director Bonnie Gratz.
All of the ticket sales will go towards the performers and the purchase of a $5 pin will go towards the festival, helping to offset the costs that arose with the August cancellation and reorganizing the event.
“Okanagan audiences can truly expect the unexpected at (the) Kelowna International Fringe Festival,” writes a news release.
