Ticket bought in Kelowna wins $100K in Tuesday night’s Lotto Max draw

If you bought a ticket for Tuesday night’s Lotto Max draw in the Kelowna area, you might want to check your numbers.

According to the BCLC, one lucky Lotto Max player who purchased their ticket for the Nov. 26 draw in Kelowna was one of four people nationwide to match 6/7+ numbers.

As a result, that ticket holder, along with two others in Ontario and one in Quebec, has won a hair under $100,000.

The exact prize amount is $99,588.30.

While that kind of money is life-changing for many, especially in these tough economic times, it certainly wasn’t the $80-million prize that many Lotto Max players were dreaming about.

Tuesday’s draw produced no winner of the $80-million jackpot, which means the game’s top prize will roll over and be available on Friday.

Around 20 Maxmillions prizes are expected to be up for grabs as well, which means the total Lotto Max prize pool should be $100 million or more.

Three of 14 Maxmillions prizes available on Tuesday were won, but none of the winners are in BC.

Those $1-million prizes are linked to a ticket purchased in Ontario and two tickets purchased in the Prairies.

And the biggest winner of the night in BC wasn’t in Kelowna, as a ticket bought in White Rock ended up matching 4/4 Extra numbers to win a cool $500,000.

Tuesday’s winning numbers were: 20-24-31-33-36-41-49 (bonus 50). The winning Extra numbers were: 13-29-59-70.
