The schedule for the 10th annual Young Stars Classic has been announced.
Prospects from four NHL teams will be competing in six games over four days at the South Okanagan Events Centre (SOEC), running Sept. 15-18, 2023.
It is once again the Vancouver Canucks, Edmonton Oilers, Calgary Flames and the Winnipeg Jets participating this year.
Previous names to attend the tournament include Connor McDavid, Elias Pettersson and last year Arturs Silovs, who was recently the tournament MVP at the World Hockey Championship.
Additionally the Penticton Vees will be making an appearance at the classic in an exhibition game against the Chilliwack Chiefs.
Games will start on the Friday and be played over the weekend into Monday.
GAME MATCHUP DATE TIME
Ticket packages will go on sale to the public June 23, and will be available for purchase at the SOEC box office or online.
Vancouver Canucks, Abbotsford Canucks, SOEC premium seating/suites and Cyber Cub Members, and Penticton Vees season ticket members will have access to a presale for the packages.
Not only will there be hockey games being played, but events like the Young Stars Classic Party on the Plaza, Minor Hockey Skills and Referee Clinics will be taking place outside the rink.
