Another former player of the Kelowna Rockets has found his way to the Vernon Vipers after the team recently announced the signing of Logan Peskett.
“Logan is a forward who combines a strong skill set with a physical element in his game,” said Vipers head coach Lukas Lomicky.
“By adding Logan, we expect our forward group to be harder to play against and more dynamic on the ice.”
Peskett joins the Vipers after starting the season with the Regina Pats.
The forward began his junior hockey career with the Kelowna Rockets and was traded to the Pats last season.
“It’s a very exciting opportunity to develop and play for a great organization,” said Peskett.
“I’m looking forward to getting started and helping the team in any way I can.”
The 2006-born forward had 11 points in 50 WHL games last year and six points in 15 games this season.
The addition of Peskett comes after the Vipers signed former Rockets netminder Jari Kykkanen near the end of November.
