Yet another B.C. music festival appears to be on hold for 2019.
Skookum Festival will reportedly not return to Vancouver’s Stanley Park this September.
On Thursday, rumours began swirling online after a statement on the festival’s official website suddenly read “following a successful launch, work is already underway to bring Skookum back as an annual festival in 2020.”
The festival's inaugural event took place Sept. 7 to 9 and was headlined by The Killers, Florence and the Machine, The War on Drugs and Father John Misty.
An estimated 51,000 attendees took part over the course of three days during last year's event.
