In addition to various activities, the event also offers up ways to give back to the community by encouraging guests to bring non-perishable food items for the Central Okanagan Food Bank.

“It just fulfills a passion that I have in my heart to reach people,” said Tripke.

Within the short four hours, Tripke anticipates the event will see nearly 4,000 people through the grounds but believes the hard work is all worth it to see community members enjoying themselves.

“When we finish at the end of the day our backs may be sore but our hearts are warm with all that we’ve had the privilege of doing here today,” added Tripke.
