An earthquake just north of Hedley was felt across the Okanagan and Similkameen regions on Saturday.
According to the Pacific Northwest Seismic Network (PNSN), the quake occurred just before 4:38 am, 32.6 kilometres west of Penticton.
The PNSN added that it was a 3.5 magnitude earthquake and occurred at a depth of 4.35 km.
Earthquakes Canada also reported the tremor and stated that it was a 3.8 magnitude earthquake.
The Canadian agency added that there were reports of light shaking felt all the way up in Kelowna.
