The Vernon North Okanagan RCMP is investigating a vehicle incident that left one person dead on Thursday.
Around 2:30 pm on May 8, police received a report of a two-vehicle collision in the 1900 block of George Street (Hwy 97) in Enderby.
Upon arrival, officers found that a motorcycle had collided with a dump truck.
Police believe that the dump truck was stopped in the southbound lane when the motorcycle ran into the back of it. The rider on the motorcycle was declared dead at the scene.
George Street was closed for a period of time to allow officers to conduct their investigation.
