Winter is coming.
Residents all over Alberta know that statement much too well and were met with an early dose of the shivering season Friday night. The province had its first big snowfall with upwards of 10 cm hitting some areas.
Despite the cold weather, many ventured outside to snap photos of the winter ground. Shown below are some of the best shots from the snow that stuck:
