Prince George RCMP looks to reunite residents with lost keys

Prince George RCMP is on the hunt to reunite residents with their lost keys.

According to police, every year hundreds of keys are turned into the RCMP by good samaritans in the community. Most of these keys are never claimed and end up being destroyed.

Police added that they have several distinctive lanyards, many with unusual key chains and quite a few expensive vehicle remotes.

If you have lost your keys in the last six months, chances are it could be at the Prince George RCMP detachment. Residents are welcome to have a look through their box at any time.
