Prince George RCMP respond to suspicious incident near elementary school

Prince George RCMP received a report on Wednesday of a suspicious incident that occurred near Heritage Elementary School.

According to police, an adult male driving a white truck was seen following an elementary school student on Tuesday.

The incident occurred at approximately 2:30 p.m. when the student departed from school. The driver began following the child in his truck, taking the exact same route.

Though the driver didn't communicate with the child, he did follow her for several blocks. The truck was last seen near the intersection of Corless Crescent and Tabor Boulevard.

The male driver was described as a Caucasian between the ages of 20 and 30 with short hair and a beard. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a flat-brimmed baseball hat. The truck was truck was described as a white Ford with four doors and a black tailgate.
