In June, Electrify Canada announced it was expanding to the west coast with nine new electric vehicle fast-charging stations throughout BC.
All will be located along some of the province’s busiest routes in the Trans-Canada Highway (Hwy 1), Hwy 97 and Hwy 99.
“British Columbia has been at the forefront of the electric mobility movement and we’re excited that electric vehicle drivers in B.C. will now be able to benefit from the Electrify Canada network,” said Robert Barrosa, chief operating officer at Electrify Canada.
“Our expansion to the west coast is another strong step in our journey to provide high quality fast-charging options to the ever-growing Canadian EV community.”
Electrify Canada outlines four quick-and-easy steps for using these new stations, which is simply “plug, pay, charge and go.”
Two of the nine chargers are now active and the other seven will be available in the coming weeks.
