A lucky BC resident is now $4 million richer after getting lucky playing Lotto 6/49.
According to the BC Lottery Corporation, an Aldergrove resident matched all six numbers in Saturday's draw. This meant the lucky resident took home $4,246,561.40.
In addition to the Aldergrove resident, a person out of Quebec also matched all six numbers. This meant they had to split the $8 million jackpot.
Saturday's winning numbers were 5, 17, 21, 29, 41 and 43. The draw's guaranteed $1 million prize also went to a resident in North Vancouver.
For those who don't know, the odds of winning a Lotto 6/49 jackpot are one in 13,983,816.
