Coyotes continue to be a concern in one of British Columbia’s most popular and busy parks.
The BC Conservation Officer Service says it’s investigating another coyote attack in Stanley Park after a woman was bitten shortly after 10 am today.
She was running along the seawall between Siwash Rock and Third Beach when she was bitten by the animal.
Fortunately, her injuries are considered minor.

“Conservation officers immediately responded and patrolled the area,” said the BCCOS. “No coyote was found but conservation officers remain on scene as these patrols continue.”
The public is asked to stay away from the area at this time, but the BCCOS also urges anyone who uses Stanley Park to take precautions in case they encounter an aggressive coyote.
The BCCOS advises everyone to familiarize themselves with safety tips available online.
