(UPDATE: Dec. 15 @ 7:30 pm) – On Sunday, Costco recalled the Irish Rover 2021 advent calendar for dogs over quality concerns.
People who bought the calendars between Oct. 1 and Dec. 8 are advised to stop feeding the treats to their pets.
Irish Dog Foods has explained they did numerous tests on the product and there was no detection of bacteria or salmonella.

Although a small number was reported to have bugs present, it was not a widespread event and the calendars were only sold at Canadian Costco locations.
People can return the calendar to a Costco warehouse for a full refund.
