Man struck and killed by train in BC

The RCMP is investigating a fatal train collision in Chilliwack.

Emergency crews were called to the scene at the Yale Road overpass around 9:45 pm Friday.

When they arrived, they found a man underneath the overpass who had been struck by a train.

Paramedics assessed the victim at the scene and confirmed that he was deceased.

The RCMP is now appealing for anyone who witnessed the fatal collision to reach out.
