The dates have been announced for Vancouver’s Celebration of Lights.
With the ongoing calls to support, buy and travel in Canada, organizers say they have received several inquiries about the epic firework show that takes over Vancouver’s English Bay over three different days.
“The Honda Celebration of Light is being inundated with calls by Canadians from coast to coast, who want to make it part of their summer vacation plans,” organizers announced on social media.
“Likewise, we are hearing from travellers in other parts of the world who want to make Canada their destination of choice.”
The dates of this year's shows will be happening on Saturday July 19, Wednesday July 23, and Saturday July 26.
The highly anticipated announcement of which countries will be performing in the show will be announced next month.
Organizers also hinted at a “very unique twist on the 2025 event.”
Last year’s participants included Portugal, Malaysia and the United Kingdom.
The UK team was awarded this year's People's Choice Award and the Judge’s Competition Award.
“Their tightly choreographed performance captivated the audience, standing out even amidst the fierce competition from Team Portugal and Team Malaysia,” organizers said last year.
In 2023, when the event returned after a two year pandemic hiatus, teams representing Australia, Mexico and the Philippines participated.
Stay tuned for the announcement about this year’s participating countries.
