If you’re a fan of the forest walk and light show that Whistler hosts every summer, you’ll want to reserve some tickets for this new winter attraction.
Whistler's Vallea Lumina opens for the holiday season tonight, and runs until April.
Vallea Lumina will enchant visitors with a winter night walk, complete with dazzling lights, emotive soundscapes and stunning scenography.
Located in a lush forest setting, the experience takes place just 10 minutes from Whistler Village at Cougar Mountain.
Guests reach the night walk via complimentary shuttle, and are immediately immersed into “charming storytelling in a breathtaking environment.”
Throughout the one hour adventure, visitors follow in the footsteps of two long-ago hikers, Leonard and Gloria, who are seeking a “mystical hidden valley where stardust falls from the sky.”
Admission to Vallea Lumina is $29.99 per adult, and $24.99 per youth. Children age 5 and under are free.
Tickets include complimentary shuttle between Whistler Village and the Cougar Mountain. The winter series will run nightly from Nov. 28, 2019 to April 2020.
