There’s going to be a new multi-millionaire in British Columbia.
According to the BCLC, a ticket purchased in Quesnel matched the winning 10-digit raffle number of 12706438-43 to win the Lotto 6/49 Gold Ball jackpot.
That jackpot had reached a whopping $46 million.
It’s an incredible Christmas gift for whoever purchased the ticket, but they don’t necessarily have to come forward and claim it right away.
“All lottery prize winners have 52 weeks from the draw date printed on their ticket to come forward to claim their prize,” the BCLC explains.
“The specific retail location where the winning lottery ticket was purchased, and the lottery winners’ name(s) will be announced after the winner has come forward to claim their prize.”
So far in 2025, BC lottery players have redeemed more than $69 million in winnings from Lotto 6/49, and that number will catapult into the triple digits if this person comes forward before the calendar flips to 2026.
