(UPDATE: Aug. 15 @ 5:10 pm) - The Trans-Canada Highway (Hwy 1) has partially reopened east of Revelstoke.
DriveBC says the major route is open to single-lane alternating traffic and advises motorists travelling through the area to "expect major delays."
The major route was shut down for just over an hour due to a crash.

DriveBC says a crash has shut down the major route at Oak Drive, which is just east of the mountain town.
