(Update - 8:30 p.m.): Highway 1 is closed 16 kilometres west of Revelstoke to 25 Kilometres east of Sicamous due to a vehicle incident. The estimated time of reopening is 9:00 p.m.
(Update - 7:00 p.m.): A detour is now available through Three Valley Gap Frontage Road. Travellers should expect heavy delays and congestion.
(Original - 4:30 p.m.): A multi-vehicle accident has closed Highway 1 west of Revelstoke.
According to Drive BC, the incident is between Perry River Bridge and Three Valley Frtg, 16 km west of Revelstoke.
Travellers are advised to expect delays. The next update is expected at 5 p.m.
