UPDATE: Hwy 1 now open at Oriole Road after vehicle incident

(Update: 10:57 a.m.) - Kamloops RCMP advises that Highway 1 at Oriole Road is now open as the two vehicle motor vehicle incident has been cleared.

The Kamloops RCMP have advised that Highway 1 has been closed eastbound at Oriole Road until further notice.

Police say that they have responded to a two-vehicle incident this morning and the closure will be in effect until it is dealt with.
