(UPDATE: Jan. 7 @ 11:20 am) – Highway 5 has partially reopened following a closure north of Kamloops.
DriveBC says the highway is reopened to single-lane alternating traffic.
However, drivers are being told to expect minor delays.
The multi-vehicle crash happened about three kilometres north of Little Fort early Wednesday morning.
No other details have been released at this time.
(Original story: Jan. 7 @ 10:09 am) – A multi-vehicle incident has Highway 5 closed north of Kamloops Wednesday morning.
The crash was first reported around 7:30 am and the highway was closed a short while later.
DriveBC says the crash is north of Little Fort but south of Clearwater.

A picture shared to the Skilled Truckers Canada Facebook group, shows that at least one semi-truck and a road maintenance pick up truck were involved in a collision.
There is no estimated time of reopening but a detour is in effect.
Motorists are advised to keep an eye out for traffic control personnel.
