After a long cold winter, it’s finally time to start enjoying the things that warmer weather brings.
One of those things is the popular tourist attraction, Kangaroo Creek Farm.
They’ll be open to the public today, meaning you can stop by to visit with the amazing variety of creatures, including kangaroos, capybaras, wallabies, sugar gliders, miniature goats, and more.
They had to push back their opening from March 15 to March 23 this year due to the snow.
“We are really disappointed that we need to postpone our opening,” the farm said when they announced the delay. “It's the first time we will not open for the beginning of Spring Break in the history of the farm.”
Last year the farm announced they would eventually move to Kelowna from Lake Country in May 2020. The wallabies, capybaras, sugar gliders, birds and more will all be moving from their 10 acres of land to 55 acres at 5932 Old Vernon Road.
