Ever dream of sipping a delicious glass of rose while taking in dreamy views of lavender fields? Well you’re in luck, because Vancouver Island is home to this picturesque winery and lavender farm.
Damali Vineyard in the Cowichan Valley lets visitors bring their own picnic and take a self-guided tour of the lavender fields.
Enjoy your weekend walking the labyrinth, sample some wine, or enjoy a glass while taking in the beauty of a sustainable farm.
There are over 15 different varieties of lavender grown at the property, and some of their wines even feature the purple flower.
The vineyard was first planted in 2006, and after converting a barn into a winery, their first wines were released in 2011.
Damali also has an orchard with blackberries, raspberries, rhubarb and black currants for the purpose of wine making.
